    I think pat understands that in this league ( for the most part )you have to put up numbers to get the Money.
    Pat could definitely have a career year, but he won't impact the game like he did in this system.

    No doubt someone already gave this perspective, but that quote from Beverley is really complimentary. He thanks the Rockets for doing right (trading him to team/location he liked) and for the opportunity to display his skills. I interpreted nothing about Houston being too small a stage, the Rockets not allowing him to develop, etc.

    does this mean the fo just shovels bs to make themselves look good - over the reality of the situation?

    Les's comment was obviously over the board PR statement, which IMO unnecessary. (Sounds a bit Trumpish to me.) There were clearly Rockets who wanted to leave and did choose to leave. And it is not necessarily a bad thing.
