It's a pretty good video and there's a good explanation of Hakeem's skills and drive, but it's absolute bull crap that they have him ranked so low. I mean, third all time? NO. Olajuwon is the greatest to ever lace them up. I would accept number 2 gracefully, but third??? It's bogus. I hope you agree, but I do think the person(s) that made this list and video were being respectful.

Imagine if Bill Russell had Hakeem's offense. He'd be #1. And he'd be Hakeem Olajuwon

Imagine if Hakeem had Bill Russell's talent around him for 13 years. Hakeem would probably have 12 rings and Jordan would have 100 times as many rings as Charles Barkley.

Ya'll will probably get a kick out of Kenny talking about Hakeem. Especially the post entry pass part. If he gave Hakeem the straight pass, it meant that the defense was loose, if it was a lob, it meant defense was tight and Hakeem would go into shooting motion as he caught the ball. Cool little tidbit!

    That's also a helluva tshirt

That whole thing is good. It's worth watching all 45 minutes in my opinion. I just liked the Kenny stuff for us. Did you hear him claim to have the highest 3pt % in the playoffs? I looked it up, if you qualify that claim by saying at least 50 playoff games and putting up 3 per game, he's right. Pretty incredible, but Rudy and Hakeem got him so wide open looks.

Kenny's shot was flat, but his 3 point shooting % was fantastic.

Actually, a young Kenny Smith, Kings and early Rockets years would rock the NBA.

Think about it, he participated in the Dunk and 3 point contest. Dude was legit.

Newbs now just watch the Kenny Smith 94-95 version and think he just throws the ball to Dream and jack up 3s, he was a true point guard.

He is underrated as a player, but the NBA respects the man's mind so he's at least got that. Dude was going 18/7 one season, that's pretty legit indeed.

Interesting that Olajuwon's block on Jordan was eerily similar to the block on Starks. Goes to show you nothing happens randomly, it's all work ethic to master the moment.
