I get OP's point, but Anderson and Horry are very different players. Yes, Horry is often credited with being one of the first small ball 4s, but he was also and excellent defender who could guard either forward spot and even some SG in a punch while rebounding fairly well. Anderson, while a superior shooter and floor spacer to Horry, doesn't do any of those things.
Ryan Anderson is one dimensional and Horry was a versatile defender and clutch shooter. If the game was on the line and I had Anderson and Horry open, Horry gets the ball every time.
Draymond Green is the next Robert Horry. Horry was awesome. Guards 3 positions, clutch AF, hits 3's, rebounds... great player.
I think the better comparison is PJ Tucker. The sad part is Anderson makes an insane amount of money for what he contributes to the team.
You mean can Ryan Anderson, the baby-soft $22mm/yr choke artist who absolutely disappears in the playoffs, start hitting a bunch of game winners and collect a bunch of rings? Probably not.
Who is "Hardens excessive drinking/clubbing problems," and what team does he play on in the west? You think we would of at least heard of this guy if he's a threat to the warriors all by himself. "Keep in mind" that if your initial premise is completely r****ded, nobody will really care what your reasoning is for arriving at said conclusion.
Mr. Anderson hasn't been unplugged from the Matrix yet. Maybe there's a Robert Horry program disk that Tin Man can plug into him. First he needs to be released! Paging Morpheus!
