Yes. Tywin was his Hand and Jaime killed him (while also belonging to his Kingsguard) Thus, Dany hates pretty much all the Lannisters Also worth noting is that Dany is the product of classic Targaryen brother-sister incest, so aunt-nephew shouldn't seem too farfetched (to her at least)
It's a list. I didn't mean Mad King is Rhaegar. I meant Mad King is daddy to Rhaegar, Viserys, and Dany. http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/House_Targaryen
not from the hack, but a good breakdown of the trailer for the next episode with some guesses as to what might happen
Here is a brief history refresher: - The Mad King is Aerys II - Rheagar, Viserys and Daenerys are his children - Rheagar was married to the Red Vipers sister, Ella of Dorn and in line to be the next King - Rheagar won the tournament at Harrenhal but named Ned Stark's sister, Lyanna the Queen of Love and Beauty instead of his own wife Ella. - Lyanna was betrothed to Robert Baratheon - Rheagar either kidnaps or runs away with Lyanna (the truth is never quite clear) which starts Roberts Rebellion. - While at the Tower of Joy Rheagar fathers a child with Lyanna who turns out to be Jon Snow. - Viserys and Daenarys are Jon Snows uncle and aunt. - Technically if Jon wasn't a b*stard, he would be in the direct line of succession ahead of Danny who is his Aunt.
Wow I've maintained spoiler celibacy for a week! I'm really excited for tonight's episode. Game of Thrones is the best pop-culture zeitgeist since Breaking Bad. Every week feels like getting ready to watch the Superbowl. Cercei is the Falcons right now, up big at halftime, but Jon Snow is going to GOAT like Brady.
Elia Martell of Dorn, sister or Oberyn Martell was raped by the Mountain. The Mountain when confronted by Oberyn in the Trial by Combat in Defense of Tyrion got his skull smashed.
Sam Tarley's brother seems to be getting lots of dialogue. He must play a part in some other story line. Im guessing Sam bumps into him at some point and the brother has to decide whether to turn him over to their father. Something like that.
Seriously, after 7 years watching these dragons be in the show, but not really in the show. That battle scene Spoiler Everything I wanted and then some.
Good stuff this episode. I question Dany's battle strategy, though. She's got three dragons. Blitz the Lannister army. Why sacrifice some Dothraki?
Dany mentioned food shortage, the Dothraki will bring back the food the Lannisters gathered. And I guess 3 dragons would have broken the CGI budget.
