I know an artist who is colorblind. He normally memorizes where each color is, labels it and memorizes where things should go. One day he got a little loose with things and was finishing a sky. He had done this huge 48 inch painting that was already sold of a longhorn in a pasture. He brought it to his wife to see what she thought of the job he'd done. She said, "The sky is green!". Painting sold anyway because of the whole story.

Its hard to have a discussion about trades if they aren't rooted in reality. I don't see the point in discussing any trades/deals/scenarios that will never happen or have a very long shot of happening.

Surprise that hadn't been posted yet...or I think it has just from the NY Daily News. Anyways, we've pretty much been thinking this since the Kyrie situation came to light. Besides, it doesn't seem as thought Cleveland is interested in a deal for Melo and thats the only guy NYK are willing to deal.

 

I pray to God that we get a legit Melo update soon that he's heading to the Rockets

 

I think maybe the only way he ended up in Cleveland was in a deal with Kyrie going to NY or somewhere else, but glad that's not happening.

I do want Melo, so it seems like the Knicks now have to either deal him for whatever they can get, as they hold no leverage of where he goes, or force him to show up for camp, and risk getting nothing as I think he can opt out next year.

 

Melo should just bring booze to every Knicks practice.

Also, teams report false things purposefully in an effort to change the value of players and/or to throw off other teams. None of us believe Melo will end up in Cleveland, but many of us believe NYK are are TRYING to find a way. Why wouldn't they? What rush are they in to rid themselves of Melo now instead of in 4 weeks? We still have 77 days till tip off. I'd find it hard to believe the the Knicks WERENT trying to find a way to get Kylie, even if we all think it's a pipe dream. They'd be absolutely foolish not to TRY.
