Some of you don’t seem to know the difference between kidding and not kidding, allow me to help with the distinction. You can’t kick someone in the balls then declare, “I was just kidding”. You see, “kidding” is derived from the word “kid” which implies to play, if you aren’t being playful in a response then it isn’t kidding. “Kidding” also means funny. If you write it and no one laughs, it’s not funny, don’t defend it, just apologize and move on. Laughter should be considered when something is deemed funny, if you write it and nobody laughs you can write j/k in Mandarin and it won’t matter, you’re still a dumbass. It’s hard to “j/k” during racial threads, death notices and airport declarations, this oversight may get you cursed out, beat up or jailed, depending on how tolerant the customs agent is (just me?). Finally, everyone’s sense of humor is different, therefore unless you are in a situation where people expect senseless banter (comedy clubs/state of the union addresses) err on the side of caution as not to piss anyone off. Be good to yourself…and others.

Kid also means goat offspring...which goats like to headbutt...which, if you ever watched America's Funniest Home Videos, goat headbutts to the groin are quite funny (as long as they are not to yourself). So a blast to the balls along with "kidding", in the right context, is quite correct. Do your research Mr. Proper Situational Grammer Man. . . . Oh yeah....J/K!
This is funny I read AB and i generally laugh. not really at what he writes, but at how people generally reply to him. I think instead if senior member under your moniker it should read that you are actually a comedian. I mean if robin williams said the stuff you say people wouldnt notice and they would just lagh it off. for some reason people really react to AB. maybe just starting every thread with a disclaimor is a good idea. I know yo are serious some times, but i see you as a comedian tring to be serious, so its still funny to me. I dont take myself seriously, so I cant take you seriously AB is not every member kidding at all times?? I know i am
