Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios

In an ironic twist, that's the same day the Knicks ultimately made their "temporary pause" announcement (later that night). But I was given a tip and did some digging, all the way down to the address of the home and the name of the seller and agent... and long story short, I have strong reason to believe it's credible. That said, now that this is dragging on for so long, it's entirely possible that he now has the time to check out a few other places here as well.

Daryl Morey is like Eric Gordon. His body is not as round as you'd think looking only at his face. Also, seems like he's been traveling/vacationing. My guess is that he know this Melo thing is gonna take a while. Also don't want to look all that eager. Let the Knicks and Melo sort their own mess out.

If there is something to take from this all is that I think Kyrie is the domino that needs to fall first. Now I DO NOT have any sources, but my opinion on this all right now is that I think Mills and the Knicks are so focused on getting Kyrie, that they are putting this trade with Melo on the back burner until there is a resolution with Kyrie.

The thing is its kinda stupid, if I am the Knicks I'm calling Houston and saying to Morey, "Look help us get Kyrie", this way they could find a way to get assets in a multiple team trade getting Melo to the Rockets. I do however think they feel maybe threatened or scared about the backlash of the NYK fans and the media, if they stuff it up.

This is why I think they were stupid not to let David Griffin come in and clean house, there are to many old remnants of the old regime there. In the end they will loose out on Kyrie, and will have to deal Melo (To where ever he wants, which is Houston as many reports say).

I just hope someone just blows Cleveland away with a great trade offer to get Kyrie out cause once that is done I do believe the Melo trade will be the main focus again.
