Antoine Walker isn't an allstar in the west. He is not good enough. Everyone complains about Cat taking bad shots, man Walker takes the worst shots. He jacks up more 3's than Vernon Maxwell did.

Ronald Murray is not well known enough for him to be a viable candidate...remember its just a popularity contest...

NBA Response to AW on East ballot:

A total of 120 players – 60 from the Eastern and Western Conferences – are listed on the NBA All-Star ballot, with 24 guards, 24 forwards and 12 centers from each conference comprising the ballot. Voters select two guards, two forwards and one center from each conference. The 120 players on the ballot were selected by a panel of media experts who regularly cover the NBA. This year’s panel included; Ric Bucher (ESPN the Magazine), Mark Heisler (Los Angeles Times), Jack McCallum (Sports Illustrated), Jack Ramsay (NBA on ESPN Radio), Sam Smith (Chicago Tribune and President, Professional Basketball Writers’ Association), and Bill Walton (ABC Sports/ESPN).

The Boston-Dallas trade involving Antoine Walker and Raef LaFrentz was completed after the media panel's deadline for selecting the ballot and therefore Walker and LaFrentz are listed on the ballot as members of their prior team. For tabulation purposes, Walker's votes will be counted towards the Western Conference totals and LaFrentz's votes will be counted towards the Eastern Conference totals.

Thank you for your interest and continued support of the NBA,

how is he the worst player ever? He has carried the Dallas team a couple of times this year to secure victories. He fits well in their system. He has good range for a PF, grabs boards, dishes the assists, and plays the D.

This really helps Walker's chance of making the All-Star team...

Considering he's on the Eastern ballot, there's only a few guys besides him who'd get a good amount of votes at power forward, and you can only vote for two. But if he were in the west, then he'd have zero chance.

Although if there's any justice in the world, this ugly 3-point brick throwing crybaby won't make the team anyhow.
