Why don't the administrators just change this forum to the "Rockets positivity forum", because there is no discussion of game action in this forum anymore. All you are allowed to talk about is how great the Rockets are playing, even if they shoot 15 percent and fall behind by 20 in a particular quarter.

ZRB, why can't you just keep your comments to yourself until after the game? Do you realize what this board would look like if everyone posted their thoughts on the current action during every game? It would be chaos, and very difficult to navigate. Keeley asked you twice, so why do you have such trouble accepting the fact that the administrators don't want game-time discussion to be conducted in the BBS? While pointless threads are annoying, it is the traffic that would result during game time that the BBS is trying to avoid. If you read the post by Clutch concerning the site and its recent problems, you would know that that much traffic in the BBS would cause problems. You don't want the site and BBS to have excessive down-times do you?

If you want to be one of the people who don't constantly blow sunshine up peoples asses, why don't you at least do it in a way that the site administrator's allow (eg. IN THE FREAKING CHAT!)

I seriously don't understand this myopia of yours in understanding this request.

Again, I point out that Taylor made one shot in the 2nd half (a jumper), Cato made 1 shot in the 2nd half, a wide open dunk off a great pass from Francis, and Thomas made either 1 or 2 shots in the 2nd half, and 1 was a 20 foot jumper and I don't believe Rogers played. Where do you get off saying that the big men made a better % of their layups inside in the 2nd half? It simply did not happen.

You dont have to leave, but of course you will as you crave attention. A lot of ppl is in the chat without talking to much, or not at all, so being on ignore is no reason to leave the chat. What you also need to consider is that you are inches from being on Ignore on the BBS, and if you will leave as a result of that then I urge everyone to just completly ignore you. And then you can have conversations with kidrock, pooh222 and a.k.a vince.

What you all need to consider is that Rockets do not have a God-given right to dominate every team. And as you say in the chat all the time when the other team score: Awful defense - You might wanna consider that they're not all due to the defense - sometime the offense to a god job, or the ball just happen to fall on good defense too.

I didn't even want to read this thread last night, much less respond to it. But what a Sunshine Ass day we have here on this glorious Sunday! This is why I love Houston. I can show my sunshine ass in March and do a madness dance for basketball. So, I could stomach reading this thread today, and I'm glad I did.

Running Raven, I can understand that if everyone was posting during the games, the BBS would go to hell. The fact remains, however, that it was pretty much just me and Kidrock posting in this thread. Two people, not 200 or 2000. Two.
You can twist my words, and say I crave attention. I guess I just like to chat differently than most of you. Some might enjoy just reading what everyone else says, but I enjoy conversing with others. If I can't do that, then I just don't enjoy staying on the chat.

Regardless of what you want, Tweak, the rules still apply to you. If keeley asked you not to do this on the BBS, and told you to take it to the chat, then you should do it. He is the adminstrator. If a couple of people start doing this, then others will respond, and a snowball effect will be the result. Here, for you, is the simple conclusion: If you don't want to have game-time commentary in the chat, then just keep it to yourself, and don't do it here.

On a side note, exactly which words of yours did I twist? When I said that you just wanted attention, I was referring to all your negative posts and chatting as a whole, and quoted nothing specific. I would love to hear this.

Look, I'm not going to bother defending myself, which is what you want, I'm sure. All I can say is that I was told to stop starting so many threads during games, and I have. If a thread has already been started, then I will respond.

My first post exposes kidrock8.

kidrock8 goes by the name HoustonNole of all places on a Longhorns BBS. He spews anti OU and A&M, and pro FSU garbage hoping to fit in with Horn fans. Most posters just throw it right back in his face. One thing Horns, Sooners, and Ags can agree on.

Don't get me wrong. kidrock8 isn't a troll or a mole by any means. He's just a nole with an identity crisis

I don't really understand the point in "exposing" kidrock like that.

Just b/c u recognize him from a different bbs doesn't mean much to me.

Knowing he's a seminole fan kind of makes me have more respect for him.

BTW, I did go to FSU for a semester, the semester they won their last championship.

It seems when there is a point made, you miss it. What you called "valid criticism" of our players was equally insulting. It seems that you only get bent when something of the same nature is said about or to you.

A. Something was said about our players
B. You defended it vigorously calling it "valid" and then launching into a diatribe about how we always rail against critical posters.
C. I took the earlier comments and directed them towards you and the poster of said comments - not to insult but to to be a "critical" poster.
D. You become offended and mention banning proving the point I was making about so-called critical comments not being constructive in any way.
E. You then post that you just want the thread to die. Then, why post again? Just don't respond.
