Here's a question, who's the funniest, provides the most lols? Deserves its own thread?

Yes, I think I've pointed this out to you before. I'm not just a 99'er, I'm one twice in a row.

Honestly, with the way some members on CF are (dumber than rock), Morey could post on here after getting verified by Clutch and they would still question his credibility.

 

Dumb for not understanding the reason why they are questioning and even dumber for driving off insiders just because information doesn't produce desired results.

Don't drag The Basement into this, please. If I made a list of the trolls operating down there, it would take half an hour to read. Your list is incredibly incomplete in that regard. D&D is like Miss Havisham's wedding dinner in Great Expectations. If someone has great expectations of honest debate and discussion, you may have a long wait. The GARM has a pleasant odor in comparison. I figured that last bit was the most damning thing I could say. The GARM is a feast. D&D looks like the image below:

It would help a little up here if members didn't go out of their way to attack the handful of folks that do get a bit of news from time to time and pass it along. As has been pointed out in the past by some of us, circumstances can change. The scoop that seems solid can dissolve simply because a player or one of the teams involved changed their mind. Doesn't mean the original scoop was wrong. If people are trolling, that becomes clear after a while, in my opinion.

 

So true. Insiders give us a peek at a moment in time. Everything is constantly changing in the NBA. Only a genuine psychic could give inside info that would bear out every time or even most times. Getting that peek into what's happening at any moment in time is fun as hell. But because people don't understand that insiders can't control 30 teams and GM's and so their info is only good at the time they give it, they run off a lot of our best posters here. It's maddening that someone like Doc Rocket would finally get so irritated that we'd lose him as a BBS contributor, but it's completely understandable. He's can't make a post without 10 or 20 (forgive me) idiots accusing him of being a fake and demanding he prove himself when he's done it many times over.

 

That's why Codman is the best. Thick skin, not overly sensitive and doesn't get rattled. You da man @Codman

Which he should have gotten from DC and Bob Kane a lot of decades ago. It's great he's finally being recognized. I feel like he contributed more to what we think of when we think of Batman than Kane did but Kane was happy to take all the credit, even for stories he didn't write.
