The attic show was based on an actual story in Louisiana. My wife didn't sleep good for 3 days after watching that one. The show just keeps getting better and better. I was a little disappointed at the end of the chronic episode when I thought Manzani had gotten away with it. But thankfully I saw the previews and realized he was gonna get caught. The thing that I really enjoyed about this weeks episode was the fact that they kinda sucked you in because even though you knew he was guilty they kept kinda twisting it and giving you a little bit of doubt. Then you find out it really is him and you start thinking ok what are they gonna do next then BAM they hit you with that ending. We were speechless for about 2-3 minutes. We were so into the show that my wife did not realize it had been on for 45 minutes. She said it felt more like 15-20. I have also recently noticed that after the marathon Bravo has shown some replays of the show periodically.
I hope that they bring in more of the "Band of Brother" cast. This is an excellent show. You know Fearless played in "Miracle Mile", "Forrest Gump" and "Wildcats"? I really like this actor, very believable, nice voice and presence on the screen.
I had not even remembered that the other detective was George Lutz in BOB until last night. I believe the exec. producer was also one of the BOb producers. I would like to see Damien Lewis and Ron Livingston do some guest spots on the show.
Yeah I knew producer was from BOB, that's why I started watching this show. I welcome any BOB cast, writers, etc. Excellent series, it will only make Boomtown better.
Bad news NBC officially canceled the show last week. I guess the only hope is that it gets picked up by someone down the line.
I loved Boomtown very orginal it seems like a lot of shows that are orginal and well writen get canned Stark Raving Mad Brotherhood of Poland , NH and now Boomtown
Fantastic show. NBC dumped it but keeps crap like Dog Eats Dogs, or whatever its called. Sorry state of television.
It's bad enough that those a$$wipes at NBC cancelled this, but what really pisses me off is that Season 1 is already for sale in the UK - Region 2. Amazon
Boomtown was my favorite show last year! It's really interesting. I love it! But I don't know...they started repeating them..so I stopped watching..I guess there are new ones on TNT.
I always wanted to check this show out. It was on a list of top 10 episodes for 2003 by a guy that has watched more TV than the rest of the world combined. If it ranked with Everwood, The Shield, West Wing, The Wire, Buffy, Six Feet Under, and Farscape, it's in some damn good company. I'm sure FX will pick it up...
