He has the bit of mix of "It", heart and swagger with him.

He's on a hitting streak right now. 4 HRs in his last six games and just got a double in his first AB during Fresno's game tonight. They say the MLB balls are flying 11 feet further than Minor League balls this season due to different manufacturers for the two sets of balls. So I bet Tyler could jack a few out of MInute Maid as well.

You think it's White of Tony Kemp that gets called up?

White's the only guy on the 40-man who can (somewhat) play the left side of the IF.

MarWIN's got to be pushing 1.000 OPS right now.

Although oddly, by getting injured, Moran has nearly locked himself into the standings near 2.000 for the foreseeable future.

And Fisher probably gets called before Kemp.

He couldn't be bothered. Kind of hard to sprint after you go for extra stuffing and gravy at lunch time.

Tyler White, please bring Derek Fisher with you.

When Colin took the towel off, his eye didn't look as bad as I thought it would. It didn't bust straight into his socket but rather right below it and high on the cheek. Lots of blood and in shock but he should be alright. Let's hope anyways.

My guess is Gurriel is going to be playing some 3B and either Reed/T. White get called up to play 1B with Marwin.

I would love to trade for a guy like Eduardo Nunez, but no sense in giving up assets with such a big league in the division.

Reed has hit for an .820 OPS this season and White is around .875. Though Reed is probably slightly hotter if we're just looking at the past 10 games or so. There really aren't too many bad choices Hinch can make among Kemp/White/Reed.

I agree it's probably White, who has turned around his season in Fresno.

AJ Reed is also suddenly hot - just hit his 9th home run in the month of July (16 games) and is tied with Fisher for the home run lead. The Astros could send Yuli back to 3rd and go with Reed over White.

I think Yuli would love to play 3rd, and make fewer errors by playing there. It's the position he played most of his career. The only reason he's at first is because Bregman wasn't going to take Correa's spot at SS.

Word has to have reached the Fresno dugout that a job is now available in Houston. So many deserving guys in that dugout too.

Jones had a shot at Springer at 2B if someone had bothered to cover the bag. Nice deke.
