Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios

I think he came from the kings. The same organization that was called Basketball Hell by Rudy Gay. Ny needs to force Dolan out. I am sure he has some sort of scandal out there.

 

Honestly, the fact that they hired and introduced their new GM and he talked about what the Knicks organization is going to be "All about" without ever actually meeting the owner... That is baffling to me.

 

its really not. i doubt melo even wants to go there if kyrie isnt on the roster. some trash guards for phoenix, combined with the fact he doesnt fit with bron and love anyway, i think this narrows his list down to rockets only

 

What you have to understand is LEBRON Is still there, cavs will still be in win now mode, they will want an established vet first, then prospects or young players picks

This may not be best thing to do but sixers and kings have nothing to help them win now

Lebron isn't going for that, and cavs going to try to please him even if he leaves

And they don't if Melo doesn't agree to go to a team that's falling apart.

 

@MrButtocks, @brewer's goat, @YOLO @justtxyank - I get what you all are saying about Kyrie, but at the end of the day he's a guy who plays on one side of the court and has yet to play an entire season. I have him in my 20-30 range for value. PG's I'd rather have: Paul, Harden, Curry, Westbrook, Conley, Wall, Lowry, Lillard. If I wasn't as concerned about winning now, take out Lowry and maybe Conley. He's just not a top tier player.

 

Cavs want a top 20 PG, young wing and picks..Melo to Cavs not going to happen and seems like Kyrie might have to wait to get his wish. Maybe if he's in Cleveland beginning of the season, Lebron will have reached out or Kyrie and they get along enough to play until the deadline or one more year.

 

Cavs don't win a ring with half of the players you mentioned playing instead of Kyrie. The guy can be the primary scorer on a championship team. He has already done it. Conley, Lillard, Lowry, Wall have proven themselves to not be on his level in the playoffs.

 

I'd take kyrie over lillard and Lowry but other than that I think I agree

It looks like a Jamal Murray for Kyrie, or a Bledsoe for Kyrie are probably the best 2 deals

 

What better place then in Houston.Paul is allready here, Melo will be soon and Dwade could be if he gets bought out.You add Harden a top 5 player then you have the making of record breaking team with MDA coaching

 

Denver with Jokic,Millsap, Harris and Irvin is a nice core

 

I think we agree actually. I called Kyrie a tier 2/3 star like Lillard, but I give him the edge because I think he's a better defender (barely) and has been so clutch in the playoffs. Both are franchise guys. I'm a huge Lowry fan, but at this point even I have to admit that he's playoff poison.

Getting back on topic, I think the Kyrie situation puts things on hold as all teams, including the Knicks, will try to see if there's an opportunity to jump in. His trade demand is big news and I doubt NY is in a hurry to deal Melo while that's out there.

 

Has there been any comment from D'Antoni and/or Melo about the two of them possibly reuniting?
