Carmelo Anthony expecting Knicks to resume trade talks, sources say

... but I actually watched Bones for the first 4 or 5 seasons, and then stopped after that. Not that @DrexlerFan had an amazing character or anything.. but the show got pretty repetitive and boring after that. In any case, 12 year run for that show is crazy insane. They just kept milking the same story lines over and over I guess, lol.

His basketball points at least seem logical, albeit some of them far fetched. He's a Blazers fan clearly so not crazy that he has higher hopes for the Blazers than most. Hey, they were legit REALLY good once the got Nurkic.... but that's such a small sample size. Blazers cap situation is screwed.

The Knicks need to settle this Melo thing soon. Just get it over with and move on. You are the one who gave Melo a NTC. You are the one who agitated him so much that he now wants to leave. You are the one that wanted him gone for months. You created this situation. They told Melo he'd be traded to Houston. Don't go back on your word now.

 

Also, to be really fair to Zach Addy, he didn't come here and start trolling. He was talking basketball (albeit, biased opinions unpopular here where the bias flows the other direction). He only started trolling after Clutchfans posters started trolling him.

Used to watch it with my wife as well and we gave up on it same as you.

Regardless of what you think about the show, this guy was in like 60 episodes and was part of a major plot. That's a bigger deal than most of us will ever get to be a part of. And he got to co-star with some pretty cool people.

Good for him.

Pretty sad that an actor coming here to talk basketball, even if a biased Blazers fan, got treated the way he did and that the insults got so juvenile.

He knew nothing about sports and he wanted to come troll. He got wiped the floor with and he deserved it with the points he was trying to make.

 

He wasn't exactly a model citizen himself. He took about 5 minutes before devolving into trolling us with Lillard gifts and gloating about his income. The former is mildly annoying, the latter just flat out distasteful. Not the way you want to handle yourself if you have any kind of public exposure, but whatever.

They weren't that insane.
The Blazers were REALLY good with Nurkic last year. I actually enjoyed watching them at that point.
They're still LEGIT screwed with their cap, and there's still ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that Melo says sure, trade me to Portland...
But if they could somehow convince Melo to come it'd be interesting to watch if they plugged him in at teh 4.
Nowhere as close to as interesting as CP3/Harden/Melo combo, but interesting.

His comments on the Melo situation as it related to NYK weren't insane either. I think he underappreciates Melo's NTC, and underestimates the likelihood of Melo OPTING IN next offseason since it's a huge salary that following year and potentially the much better economic move for him. And he underappreciates just how imperative it is for NYK to move on from Melo. Every year they have Melo going forward is a year delay to a rebuild and a year closer to Porzingis forcing his way out as well. But he recognizes the Knicks would be dumb to just swap Melo for Ryan Anderson as it doesn't give them anything they need, or do a three team trade where they get back some other crappy contract that makes no sense.

I think the Rockets-Knicks-Pistons hypothetical someone posted earlier in this thread makes the most sense. Super logical to me...

 

As a Drexler fan we should be the last ones he should be trolling.
