    He just got waived by the lakers, I remember him being a decent player on the rockets, grab him as cheap center?

    Tarik Black is the kind of players that the Rockets should look to fill out the roster. It's great to have the vets that we have, but need to take chances on younger guys who can become useful role players even while competing. Spurs do a good job of signing and grooming the likes of Danny Green and Patty Mills and that helped them beat the Heat for a title when Miami got too old around their stars.

    Even Golden State makes use of the Ian Clarks and Pat McCaws.

    If we fail to find another center I don't see what's wrong with him. Have him and Nanu fight for that 3rd string position. At the very least it'll make Nanu a better center because someone needs to play C when Nene rests.

    Actually Shawn Long is better than Black IMO. I'm still not opposed to having Black as a last resort, but DM/Les should look elsewhere first.
