Vince Bugliosi is the man! I'd love to see Brad Pitt play him.

Will see this movie. Sounds good!

And the most predictable post award of 2017 goes to Rocket River!

I'm guessing if one had the time to look up every other thread about QT's movies, there's a similar post.

QT is great, but I feel uncomfortable with the idea of him depicting real murders on film, knowing his style.

I'm sure it'll be loosely based with some exaggeration. I don't think it's a biopic or anything like that.

Wait, you mean Hitler wasn't gunned down at a movie premier in Paris by Sgt. Donnie Donowitz? Mind = blown. He he...

I'm with you @VanityHalfBlack ... I'm honestly geeked as hell for QT's interpretation of this story.

Who would be the perfect pick to play Charles?

I was pretty excited when I saw this. I love QTs work and I have memories from when I was younger of my mom telling me about the Charles Manson stories. It's pretty interesting stuff. It'll be fun to see how Q interprets it and creates his own around it.

I'm all for Kit Harington or Jared Leto as Charles.

The only way he could get it up that high is to play up the race war crap Manson was about to cartoonish levels. I don't see him taking that angle though as people already dislike Manson so making him provocatively racist won't be shocking to an audience.

Also tarantino blows so dislike him for whatever reason you want.

If anyone is interested there's a fantastic 10 part podcast on the murder, history and historical context of The Family.

As for the film, I doubt he's gonna go all revenge revisionist history and have Sharon survive and kill Manson. There have been stories that QT was knee deep in researching the year 1970 the past few years. I'm thinking this will be more a combination of Zodiac and Jackie Brown. Muliple story lines and serious in tone with "real character's" and not the adult cartoons he's been making this century.

Yeah I don't mind it being character driven like Jackie Brown. I'm telling you man, this is going to be badass. QT can write dialogue like a mother****er. I don't really care if there's any violence at all. Give me good writing and badass story lines and I'm good bro.

This guy was a pest, especially after goading Tarantino a second time; but Quentin's facial structure always throws me for a loop.
