I'm pretty sure they pay Harden in dollars and not granite but you never know with this younger generation.

AS long as we don't trade Harden for granite, I don't care the quality, then I'm fine with that.

There is one downside and that is that the 3pt shooting strategy is far more effective with more opportunities so a quicker pace(or collecting more turnovers) is key to gaining more opportunities. If you slow it down too often, you take away the advantages that the 3pt shot gives so there will definitely be a balance to be had.

I think a BIG reason we employed the 3s and layups strategy with a fast pace was to compensate for the fact that our team overall had less talent compared to other multi-star teams and it did help us with a better regular season record than we probably deserved...but obviously we got exposed in the playoffs. Paul should help with our half court(particularly 2pt efficiency) in the playoffs but we need to make sure to still keep a relatively quick team pace during the regular season and launching 3s so that we get a higher seed. You do NOT want to be in the middle of a playoff bracket in the west.

It will be interesting to see how the Rockets' strategy changes this year with Paul and maybe(hopefully) Melo on board.

Me too, I can't wait for Melo to back his opponent down and give us competent post production.

    Wait what?
