Hopefully my random question can be answered...a couple of years ago the Rockets wore a shirt for shootaround on Christmas. It was white and I believe it had a pixelated net and like half a basketball on it. It was for sale at the time and I loved it but couldn't bring myself to spend $55 on a t-shirt. I thought it was called shootaround shirt or something along those lines but I can't find it anywhere online. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
A lot of the teams recently have went back and made a more modern version of their old logos (Suns, Hawks, T-Wolves, Philly, Pistons). I feel like a modern version of our old ketchup and mustard logo would look great. Would give this team a new identity while honoring our championship years.
If I remember right, the ugly R logo was a place holder, but cheap Les decided to keep it because he didn't want to pay another firm to design a logo.
Nope, you're not. I think the R is iconic and way better than having a dumb mascot like cartoon rocket or a horsey on a logo. We do seem to be in the minority though
Give the people what they want Leslie! Chris did upgrade from this Spoiler: made in Microsoft paint to this Spoiler Past due for an upgrade! These were Yao/T-Mac uniforms. Then we had the Martin/Scola/Lowry/Dragic years Then Harden/Dwight Now Harden/CP3 It's past due! Let's go!
Even the Clippers look better! However, people need to let go of the ugly red and gold look. I'd love the Rockets to go with the space theme making our colours: white and black + dark blue and or red. If they do go with red and gold, just make sure it's fire theme!
