Im starting to think its a conspiracy. Either the refs are racist towards asians,or the L wants the rockets to lose to force Ming to a bigger market.
I know I'd get flamed for saying this, but NBA refs don't like the foreigners in general. A few years ago, some team (I think Nets?) even filed complain to the league against the refs for making calls against Drazen Petrovic(sp?). They listed some very insulting language used by the refs when the poor guy complained about the calls he got. Yao will always be in the disavantage with the refs until he becomes real dominating, then the focus will be on the refs to give him the calls. Last year was the classic example where Yao got a lot of "not-rookie" privilege calls because the whole world was watching him. It's not the same this year. --daoshi
