I voted for Francis and Yao. After the last two games, I got to be honest and fair, maybe Cat waits for another year. :)

I never said I liked Parker, or that Parker played better. I was merely defending the "troll's" point of view, rather it be in line with the majority or not. People can vote for whatever reason they want.
Maybe he's gay, and thinks Parker is hot, I don't know.

    lmao!

And, I hope it didn't seem like I was giving you a hard time, TECH. My post was more directed toward the guy who said he voted for Bibby and Parker.

I voted for Shaq, but I also voted for Francis.
Does that make me a troll?

Like I said, I didn't vote for a starting lineup. I just like how they have been playing. That's all. I would vote for either Finley or Ginobilli over Kobe as well just because I like their playing styles. Same goes for Yao over Shaq.

Thanks for the homo joke, really.

    Yao
    Garnett
    Randolph
    Stevie
    Marbury
    and
    Ben
    Vince
    Artest
    McGrady
    Baron

    write in, Cato!

Some odd votes (Randolph and Artest), but they deserve some votes with their ealry play.

I alternate my votes, voting on both homer votes and votes on players that really deserve it (stat wise and talent wise)

    homer:
    Steve
    Mobes
    Mike Miller
    Carmelo
    Yao
    Jim Jackson write in

    Actually deserving
Steph Marbury (I still think steve's the slightly better player but Steph have the stats right now)
    Kobe
    KG
    Duncan
    Shaq

No, not @ all. The Rockets and Lakers have similar records and Shaq has been the best center in the West (and the entire league). But, I also have no problem with someone voting for Yao (obviously) b/c aside from being the second best center in the league it can be argued that Yao's presence is as important to the Rockets success as Shaq's presence to the Lakers is. Voting Shaq over Yao is not as much a stretch as voting Bibby and Parker over Francis, IMO.

    For the record, my votes:

    West-
    Francis
    Kobe
    Duncan
    Garnett
Yao (I'm going to alternate between Yao/Shaq each day)

    East-
    B. Davis
    Iverson
    V. Carter
    J. O'Neal
    Wallace

Nice post; I do the same thing. I actually consider the record of a players team as well as that player's stats when voting. So I definitely considered Marbury but gave it to Steve (a little bit of 'Homer' and 'Actually deserving' involved).

What i find really sad is that we don't have a forward to vote for...it really shows where our weakness is...i had to write Jim Jackson in...
