Question for insiders at home. Where's a good place to play for open mic?

Nothing too hard to get into, but also nothing where there are three people there including the owner.

Any help would be great. Thanks

The Mucky Duck near Greenway Plaza is a place I've been for open mike.

Wow, I used to work there. It's always packed for open mics, good place to start out.

There's some place just south of 59 near the Village. It's next to Dominos pizza, but I can't remember the name of it since I don't live in Houston anymore.

    The Big Easy...I think it's a jazz/blues club.
