    It's very simple.

Everyone gets to dominate the ball for one quarter each. Whoever has the most points by the start of the 4th quarter gets the ball in the 4th.

I think this is a very fair question. It depends on the players involved, of course. Rondo, Wade, and Kobe are all two-way players, but if they played together the spacing would be horrible. Wade and Kobe, although both great, are basically duplicates of each other.

Miami made their big three work because Wade and Bosh sacrificed their games, all three were good defenders, and Bosh was just a nasty mismatch at the center position while still being able to protect the interior. I don't know if they'd be good enough to beat the current Warriors though.

As regards to CP3, Harden, and Melo I'm not too thrilled with the combo. Fortunately, all three can shoot and Harden and Melo could definitely both take advantage of easier looks generated by CP3. Harden was insanely efficient being part of a big three in OKC, he even got to the finals before getting stomped by Miami's big three in the finals. Melo would have to sacrifice some of his game, especially some of the tough turnaround jumpers he's so fond of.

Unfortunately, neither Harden nor Melo play great defense. I think we'd be much better off with someone like Draymond Green instead of Melo. Offense with CP3 and Harden on the same team will never be a problem. We need guys like Green, Millsap, or Marc Gasol who are elite defenders that can score rather than elite scorers that can't defend. I think we'd still get smoked by GS.

when the three ball dominant guys are all good shooters, there will always be a way to integrate them, at least on one end of the floor.

If we still had McFail as the head coach I would say no, but I think Dantoni can make it work.

Fun Fact: These 3 are undefeated when playing on the same team.

If we just expect 2 out of the 3 to park at the 3pt line, do not have a lot of sets with guys cutting and working of the ball and just watch the others then it will be alright. Use the talent you have to the maximum, work the mid-range, don't go all out threes, allow CP3 to walk the ball up and do not force the run and gun style and take turns on initiating the offense and it can be great. I have little faith in MDA's ability to adjust, so here I agree with the man with sauces from ESPN. I think it will be up and down, far from the best trio but definitely not as bad as these media people would have you believe. In the end, like Cowherd stated, they are grown man and they can all play.
