if you're worried about getting wins then sure it does. if you want to suck then no it wouldn't matter and half the league wants to suck now obviously. if you completely suck and got some dumb gm to pay you $10 mil per that's absolutely terrible
Unless Melo is giving back a TON of money, it wont make sense for the Knicks.... That means close to $10 million in dead money for the next 5 years. I think.... if there is a snag about gettin assets back for NYC, i think they eventually give in and sell him off pennies on that dollar. Again, I think the snag is a third team to take on that poison contract of Ryan Anderson.

I suspect there is quite a bit going on behind the scene. But there's no news. However when the news falls silent, people get bored, their feelings get hurt, minds drift to the gutter, threads multiply, etc. It would be nice if some of this could be reigned in.
