    Why not? Houston fans and the organization are super thirsty and I love it. I like that the Rockets aren't above showing how much they appreciate their players. Rockets did it for punk-ass Dwight. They should do it for CP3 (and Carmelo) too.

    If the Rockets get Melo between now and Friday, that place would be crazy.

    Would be incredibly impressive if they could keep it under wraps somehow. I'm sure impossible, but they somehow kept Harden's extension hidden from sources when they just brought him out to announce it last summer.

    They had a huge outside event for Howard, it was super hot probably why this one will be inside.

    They also had a huge banner they put up on the parking garage same day a lot of old rockets came

    It's great marketing to get the city on board

    Wish I could go but I live in CA now mannnn $1 hotdogs and nachos they really tiger people out

    I think the main part of "impossible" would be the other players involved in the trade. They certainly wouldn't be obliged to keep their mouths shut. Unless you could get the NBA office to release the info just that morning, so the media would get wind of it late. Again, not holding my breath.
