It's pointless because you are completely wrong. Whether or not you want to learn from that is up to you.
LOL just be patient and wait. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, we are still in a better position than the start of last season.
While i absolutely agree with the sentiment that the team is good no matter what we both know how impossible it is to feel patient with these rumors dominating rockets news lol
yeah..that was an analogy.. as I said good luck. Leonard is a horrible contract because he's that bad of a player.
I don't think I am man. I just wasn't a fan of the signing when it happened. I'm pretty heavily invested in basketball and I'm never one to have my judgement clouded by certain performances. I like to look at things a little more analytically so if you'd indulge me. Here are some people who got deals in some part because of their stretch ability as bigmen. Marvin Williams - 4 year / $54,512,500 4.7 attempts .40 last year Markieff Morris - 4 year / $32,000,000 2.6 attempts .36 this year Mirza Teletovic - 3 year / $31,500,000 5.8 attempts .39 last year Patrick Patterson - 3 year / $16,354,800 3.9 attempts .37 this year Channing Frye - 4 year / $32,000,000 4.5 attempts .40 this year Ryan Anderson - 4 year / $80,000,000 7.0 attempts .40 this year (look at his numbers before he had James Harden passing him the ball) Now Anderson clearly shot the best of this bunch but other players in this group contribute in other ways as well. Rebounding and defense was an issue for our team least year and some, if not most of these players have one or both of these things in their favor over Anderson. I will say this, I might be the biggest Morey fan in this entire forum but when you need someone for spacing, (all of the players above are respected enough from three to keep the defense honest) do you go out and pay that much for just a little better shooting but also a liability in other areas? Marvin Williams who has managed to shoot .40 from three without James Harden passing him the ball is statistically a better rebounder, playmaker and defender yet he got 2/3 of Anderson's contract. The rest of these players didn't even come close to Marvin. IMO when Harden is running the show and the team needs a decoy to stretch the floor, its hard to justify ignoring someone's weaknesses and pay that much for just a little better shooting.
This seems like wishful thinking on the Knicks part, unless they're willing to give up something to help sweeten the deal for a team taking Leonard.
