13 points and 7 assists while with Dallas last year. I don't that's "terrible" and for the vet min most likely I wouldn't complain

putting up a little bit of stats on a garbage team means nothing

I guess you missed the playoffs. He looked bad vs GS

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm buying the Isaiah Taylor stock. I reserve the right to retract this opinion if he looks like ass tomorrow.

Oooh Justin Hamilton would be such a good backup 4/5. He was a fantasy darling for a stretch last year.

I wonder if Morey has a backup plan for Carmelo. I do feel that any acquisition will be hard to execute unless Anderson is moved.

I watched the playoffs and he barely played. Still has some left in the tank. Don't need to go back and forth with you on it. Neither one of us make the decisions

The guy shot 41% from 3PT range last year and 90% from FT, while playing 26mpg, hardly washed up imo.

Would be a great pickup for the Rox

Aside from the obvious starters and bench players...

Bobby Brown is still in the mix right? I know Troy Williams needs to sign up but he seems like obvious F depth. Qi has looked promising in SL play. Onuaku is at least a big body.

CJ Watson is likely to be waived today (if not, salary becomes fully guaranteed), he is probably our best option for a vet min 3rd string PG. If CJ gets more money, I'd look at Spencer Dinwiddie - he won't get much time behind Lin and Russell, worth a 2nd round pick. Sergio Rodriguez, Sessions, Barbosa, Rondo, Lawson and D Williams can still play 5-10 mins in regular season blow-outs, but aren't worth any meaningful time in the playoffs and some of them come with heavy baggage.

Bass, Black, Bogut, Hamilton, Speights could give Nene his rest on back-to-backs. Hamilton can help.

Jennings, Ilyasova, Sefolosha, T Zeller are likely to get more than vet min, but worth making an offer.

If we don't use our NGs for Anthony: Belinelli, Bjelica, Hezonja, Stanley Johnson, Barton and Arthur should be obtainable with a combination of NGs and 2nd round pick. I'd love to have Barton if he doesn't cost much.

Those guys who probably think we can get a 20 and 10 guy with a snap of a finger.

I wouldn't worry about how any of these possible bench guys match up against Golden State. You are talking about 4th guard and 3rd string center options and maybe 4th wing type guys. These are guys who play in blowouts, foul trouble during the regular season, rest days, etc.

CJ Watson has now been waived. Probably the best available vet min PG . Do it Morey!

He is 36 and can still space the floor. I've posted his 3-pt %: Lt/Rt-Corner & above the break from last yr
    ............................................................................(Atl 16/17) 47.6% / 47.6% & 36.3%................................

    Vince Carter is 40 y/o
    Nowitzki is 39 y/o
    Richard Jefferson is 37 y/o
    David West is 36 y/o
    Pau Gasol is 37 y/o
    Mike Miller is 37 y/o
    Jason Terry is 39 y/o
    Matt Barnes is 37 y/o
    Jamal Crawford is 37 y/o

    Ginobli is 39 y/o

That's what the super teams do. They pay the "Big 3" stars and then fill their roster with guys at the end
of their career chasing a ring at the vet minimum. Ray Allen played until he was 38 y/o.

I'm sure Morey is keeping an eye on some summer league guys to fill out roster spots:

Isaiah Taylor has impressed. So has this guy:

I'd like to stick with young guys who can develop. Pick up the vets in February when they're bought out (Wade).

Bogut and Dunleavy are interesting options though.

really hard to find decent vet pieces that will sign for the min but Anthony Morrow makes a lot of sense. He was terrible last year but has a proven track record. Even if we still need more defense opposed to offense.
