I don't think any player deserves a season ending injury in a playoff game. What did Rondo ever do that was that dirty? I don't recall him injuring anyone and I used to watch Rondo all the time. He was the most exciting player for me to follow (other than goran dragic) during out 14th overall pick years. I never cared about celtics and only cared about rockets but I absolutely thought Rondo was must see TV so I watched him.
Athletes that rely on athleticism at this age can be a problem. I wouldn't put any of are our stars in that category, they primarily use skill and deception, also the occasional acting job
