.......more drives towards the basket, drawing defenders but passing off , near the basket to the weakside player ready to go up to the basket for an easy dunk. Both Yao, Francis and Mobley are able to do this why dont they? Its an easy score most of the time and its Team Basketball.

simple. Because steve is a dumb point guard(hes a great sg though) and mobley is pure sg also. Plus they want to "get theirs" to make the allstar team. Ming doesnt penetrate to the hole. The rockets need Jamal Crawford I cant say it enough. He was on the block last week and rocket fans werent interested but he is a 6'7 combo guard that can pass better than mobley and allow steve to move over to sg.

But I dont expect CD to figure this out.

Steve actually passes when defenders rotate to his drive. Mobley, well he never passes, but that is actually one of Steve's strengths. One time last night he gave a pass to Ming for a dunk off a drive and Ming dropped it.

i have to agree with you there. the rockets are desperate need of a young pg that averages less than three and a half assists per game.

Forget what I'd like to see from the team. I'd like to see some changes in the forum posters here. Show some damn loyalty to the team and not to individual players. Gain some basketball knowledge before you go off starting threads about Francis being overrated/dumb/not a PG or Yao is too weak/too nice/not aggressive enough. Stop complaining when our team wins and stop overreacting when they lose a tough game. I see a lot of people say, "if you don't like the thread, then just ignore it." Well, that's getting kinda tough when every thread is one of the above mentioned. I've been coming to this site for a long time, and it was much more enjoyable pre-Yao when people could show some amount of civility around here. Please, let's turn these forums back to the respectable, fun places they used to be. :)

Crawford is a shoot-first combo guard also.

That was the reason why he was benched in Chicago.

I would like to see a lor more gratitude and apperciation shown to the Houston Rockets for being 5-2 and leading the midwest division. And there needs to be more of a drunken celebratory attitude when the team is winning, cause to be 5-2 is a jolly affair. Every time the Rockets win I want to see people apperciate it more, and if it gives them an excuse to open up a bottle of wine, then great, do it, make a toast to the greatest team on the planet, and to life, and to victory.
