The snowball picking up speed rolling down a hill theory is a big player in my prediction. I do not think the Wolves will win against LA, Port, Sac, Dal the rest of the way. The Wolves have not stepped up at all during the last part of the season. Guess what their schedule is only going to get tougher.

The T-Wolves are going to go down hard in April. As the teams they are playing will be fighting for home court advantage in the play-offs.

All I have done is predict that the better team will win each game. Other than the Grizz and Clipps what team will the Wolves be favored against?

Anyone pic a game where you think I have predicted wrong tell me why and I will shoot your theory down. Of course yo-yo theory allways applies with my predictions [IMG]

Check my previous theories. In mid January I predicted the Rockets would win 10 games in both Feb and March. They only won 9 in Feb and have already won 6 this month so I have been pretty good. I also said the Mavs would loose a bunch of games starting March 20th. I hope I am wrong but we will see how that turns out.

The Wolves will not finish with 47 wins this year. I will stand by my prediction of 44 though.

I have a feeling that it'll come down to the last game of the season.

They will beat Suns home - they have to - we're gonna pass them too. [IMG]

Unfortunately for the Wolves the April 6th game against the Suns comes at a bad time. The Suns will come in HOT riding a 3 game win streak off of the Bucks, Pacers and Hornets. Plus the Suns will be comming in off three days rest.

As for the Wolves they will ride into this game with a 3 game slump from losses against the Kings, Blazers and Blazers. They will also be looking ahead to the next game against the Lakers.

This game will be a blow out by the Suns as the T-Wolves April snowballs into the worst months of the season. At least the Wolves will get to draft in the lottery...oh wait they get no first round draft pick [IMG]

I guess I should have included the Suns.

Looks like we are all tied up with the Suns and the Wolves for the 8th seed!

Well they are both percentage points ahead of us but here is the records:

Suns 38 wins and 28 losses

Wolves 38 wins and 28 losses

Rockets 39 wins and 29 losses

    I love this game!

The Rockets have 38 wins, not 39.

OOOPS! My Bad! I was checking out the standings on ESPN and did not think they had updated them yet.

The Suns are 38 and 27.

    The Wolves 38 and 28

    The Rockets 38 and 29

Thanks for setting me straight in all my excitement ZRB!

ESPN has no time for the Rockets, but you can trust them to have updated standings once the final whisstle is blown.

Over the next week and a half I fully expect the T-Wolves to pick up a game and maybe two on the Rockets. Lets look at the schedule starting tonight thru the end of the month.

    T-Wolves:
    3/18 Cavs W
    3/21 Mavs L
    3/23 Nugs W
    3/25 Nets W
    3/28 @Sonics W
    3/30 @Kings L

    Rockets
    3/17 Spurs L
    3/20 @Kings L
    3/22 @Clipps W
    3/24 @Sonics W
    3/27 Jazz L
    3/29 Suns W
    3/31 Wiz W

    Records at end of March:
    T-Wolves 42 wins and 30 Losses

Rockets 41 wins and 32 losses

April stands to be a much different picture. Here is the brake down:

    T-Wolves:
    4/1 @Blazers L
    4/4 Blazers L
    4/6 Suns L
    4/8 Lakers L
    4/10 @Grizz W
    4/12 @Lakers L
    4/13 @Clips W
    4/15 Jazz L
    4/17 @Rockets L
    4/18 @Mavs L

    Rockets:
    4/1 @Nets W
    4/3 Mavs W
    4/5 Sonics W
    4/6 Hawks W
    4/9 @Jazz L
    4/10 Nugs W
    4/13 @Blazers L
    4/14 @Grizz W
    4/17 T-Wolves WIN!

    Final Records:
    T-Wolves 44 wins 38 losses

    Rockets 48 wins 34 losses

Agree? DisAgree? What are your thoughts?

Don't you think you're underestimating the Wolves in the second column?

Minnesota won't lose 8 of their final 10. even though you put your losses against quality teams, they are capable of beating any of these teams at any given night.

however, i DO agree with your Rocket prediction.

Well the T-Wolves are the team that recently lost 6 of 7 games!

Unlike the Rockets, most teams don't go 0-8 against top 5 teams in the West. [IMG]
