Harden needs that type of edge self driven veteran players spear heading the way. It will pay off in the long run.

Weeko swore that another star would never want to play with a selfish ball hog who plays no defense like Harden. The Rockets then acquired CP3 and this dude is nowhere to be found.
I think really harden has proven to everyone that he can get any team no matter what kind of talent is around him to 55 wins and HC in the 1st and 2nd rounds. 2 years ago without Dwight when he missed damn near the whole season he led houston to the 3rd best record on a defense first team that finished 5 in drtg but only 12th in ortg and the 2nd seed. Last year he has an offensive team and leads them to a top 3 record, 3rd in the west and HC advantage in the 1st round. Was only 16th on drtg but 2nd in ortg and 10th best alltime. Harden gets wins in the regular season. Any star like cp3 and melo? Lebron? Who need and want rest going into the playoffs have to love the idea of playing with harden. If Lebron sits in Cleveland Irving and love can't even win at a .400 level. Cp3 goes out and clipper player .500 ball with Blake and Jordan. Melo ? He can't even get to .500 by himself anymore. Harden def appeals to the cp3 Lebrons and Melos in sure. Harden is the man.
CP3 is smart. By getting himself traded to the Rockets, he can continously make max money while also no longer needing to carry the load himself, has a great shot to get past the 2nd round. Not much to say besides he clearly will stay and we will pay him. Is that enough for the championship? Probably not without major luck. But you can't do much better than CP3/Harden for the next 3 years or so and then after that who knows.

I agree the players gave Harden the MVP over Curry back in 2015 for a reason, they know he's the truth and his level of dominance and pure greatness is highly respected How do u play PG full-time for the 1st time and then end up leading the league in assists?
