    I thought he was interim gm. Are you sure hes been offered the full time position yet?

    Everyone has interim gms if their gm is fired. Im saying id be surprised if there was a deal before a long term gm is officially hired.

    He was the President before Phil then he hired Phil and became the GM.

    Now he's the stand President until a new one is hired.

    Steve Mills was always their GM, Phil Jackson was their President of Basketball Operations

    it's still unclear if a guy like David Griffin would be hired to be their new President or if Mills would be promoted to President and Griffin would become the GM

    It pretty much comes down to which teams still have cap space and could use Ryan Anderson and possibly EGO and picks or whatever. Those non-guaranteed contracts could also come in handy.

    I know Morey is doing what he can. Thing is, if he gets the third "star", are we better or just sexier for TV ratings and ticket sales? In any case, we're not going into the playoffs next season as constituted.

    We all know mills has been there forever.

    As of right now no one has officially been given the position of being the long term guy who has the biggest say in basketball decisions.

    I doubt they will trade melo before they make that official
