And how many threads have I started? I have been a Rockets fan since 81. I now live in Phoenix and I have Wow, I posted this as news and I go away and find this kind of thing! Feel free to add me to threads you ignore as I rarely create them. I am have been a Rockets fans since 81 and I had season tickets through the 80s. I moved to Phoenix in the early 2000s and I had season tickets for the Suns as well. I have seen a lot of PJ Tucker and I really like him as a player. I like him even more as a backup but that seems to a lot of money for a backup whose prime is way behind him, he is 32 I believe. I hope I am wrong. Andre Igoudala certainly has been great as he has gotten older. I really liked Troy as a 3 and D player whose is young with potential who we got on a cheap contract. I think our position of need for an older vet would be at PF where waning athleticism isn't as much of an issue in that position.
Troy won't get a shot under MDA, so he should go somewhere like Memphis where he will play. He can take Parsons spot once he injures himself again
Also that's just a blogger saying that the Grizzlies should sign Troy Williams. Nothing about the Grizzlies actually having interest in signing him.
Well I dunno about Troy over Tucker, but u right Rox should keep him at all costs. Would hate for him to be Livingston 2.0 be with us then we let him go for nothing.
8 milion dollars as your primary backup wing getting close to 30 minutes a night isnt alot of money for a backup. Do you follow the nba and contracts? It would have been alot of money for a backup like 5-10 years ago. Prime is way behind him? lolololol did you not see how he played in toronto after the trade last year? He might not looked quite as good on the teenage squad suns. He went to a better team and looked phenominal. Besides 1 good game what the hell has troy williams done that would make you think he is even close to pj tucker? you like troy williams as a 3 and D player, but then dont even realize we just got a sick 3 and D player in tucker!!! Its not even close the skill level. Troy Williams is D-League Allstar talent. He cant shoot. In MDAs system , if you are a wing, you have to be able to shoot. Atleast have a shot you hit. Like Tucker nails the corner 3.
He had 1 good game, his 1st one. He had 1 put back dunk that I recall. Other than that, he seemed like he belongs in RGV.
He got potential..... I doubt Tucker is on the rise and can get much better. I know we are looking for veterans...... depending how much Troy would cost though. WE are after cheap players too.
No we are after good players. Troy Williams is a D League allstar. Hes not a good enough player to be on a contending team
Do we have the money to get good players? No... .we are sifting through the garbage can to haul a gem.
I see you are really enjoying Chick-fil-A closing early for July 4! Was it nice to get off work earlier than usual and make it in time to see the fireworks show?
