OKC have their big 3 set with WB, Paul George and PatPat Presti putting in work So they basically got rid of Sabonis and Oladipo for Paul George and 2Pat Nice
This is BS perfect back pf that keeps spacing in 2nd unit. Him and nene would've been nice ! We trade Anderson who we have that can shoot 3s at the 4???
Well saw woj tweet about player option 3rd year and starting job. He wasn't going to get starting spot here and he knows morey can go get another star anytime like melo
Ppat a upgrade his D solid & he stretches the floor They had no shooters Ppat who thibs should've went after morey shouldve locked ppat up before thunder could talk starting roles
I like his work ethic, but he is soft. Motiejunas 60 game stretch at C was more impressive than anything Patsquatch has ever done.
The available minutes is likely the key here. The cap situation is tight this season, and looks to be tight again next season. So, it may be wise for a player to sign for a little less at a place where he can get more minutes and hopefully earn a bigger check later on. A challenge that the Rockets have in chasing free agents now is that they actually have 8 real NBA players filling up a rotation already. Can't promise the same "showcase" opportunities. Also, I wonder what's gonna happen with their restricted FA Roberson.
I think it's possible we ended Roberson's chance at getting a decent contract. Feel bad for the dude, he's a hard worker. Will eventually become a respectable 3pt shooter I think.
My brothers, Patrick Patterson is a real nice guy, but he is the dictionary definition of fool's good. A big guy who is just there to shoot 3's. Doesn't defend, block shots, or rebounds. Pass....
The guy is 2nd team All Defensive. He is worth quite a bit even being possibly the worst shooting perimeter player in the NBA. I wouldn't bet on him becoming even a respectable 3 pt shooter, though. His FT% struggles indicates that he might just not have very good hand-eye coordination or fine motor skills associated with shooting basketball.
