    Unfortunately, not yet I don't think. Springer ripped the ball, but it was then K and 2 routine grounders. But it's definitely early and not telling or anything necessarily

    edit: I also wanted to say, nice hold by Pettis on Springer. And then I realized Pettis isn't there.. lol

    He's not the same hitter at all, much less patient, but Yuli has the same quick bat that Alou had. Throwing him an inside pitch with runners on is a stupid move.

    All the stat-geeks hate it, but I wouldn't mind some of the guy trying to push or pull a bunt for a hit when there's runners on...you're either safe or you get the runner moved up. Depending on the situation, it may be needed later this year in playoff ball...Aoki, Marwin, Jake, Reddick.....
