Clippers have an interesting roster now. Gallo is a really good player, just never healthy. But he is also more of a 4 at this point, so I don't really get pairing him with Blake
I actually like Gallo but this contract is outrageous. And they gave up a first round pick just to sign him? He misses a ton of games every season and has a terrible injury history. At least they have a legit SF now.
He offered Anderson 18M for 4 years ie tied even more money to a historically injury prone player than the Clippers. At least all of Gallo's injuries are legit Anderson got injured taking out the trash in his house.

And Gallo is still a better player than Anderson, it's laughable to make fun at Gallo signed to 20x with the cap at 100M and be shocked that we couldn't dump Anderson signed at 20x with the cap at 90M...
Why I said they'd be more interesting with a different coach. If Dantoni was coach they'd run small and fast with Gallo at the 4 and Blake running the five.

This if your best players are bigs you are headed to the lotto. Just ask the Pelicans. This is a guard oriented league and the Clippers have no playmaker in the backcourt.
Ehh Anderson has 3 years and 62 million dollars on his deal and Galo has 3 years and 65 million dollars left on his deal. Defensively they are a wash. Gallo cannot guard SF's any more. Gallo goes to the line more than Anderson and handles the ball better. Anderson spaces the floor better. Anderson traditionally plays more games. I like Gallo slightly better than Anderson because he gets to the line; but it is very close when everything is considered. People are not lining up to get Anderson but he isn't an albatross either. The problem is in part that the Rockets gave up the assets needed to move him in the Paul trade, or are not willing to move them (Capela).
