Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, Wesley Matthews, Joakim Noah, Chandler Parsons, Dwight Howard, and Bradley Beal all got hurt or had serious injuries concerns and received max or near max contracts.

Hayward is getting the max and will get 5 years with Utah if he wants it. He has zero reason to sign an extension right now. That doesn't mean that he wants to leave Utah. It has no correlation.

I think Hayward is better than DeRozan. DeRozan isn't really a better scorer, because Hayward is way more efficient. And Hayward is a better defender.

I'm glad the majority of the league did not care about Hayward free agency go around. It's nice to see mostly the major names signed at this point.

At this point, it will be shocking if Hayward doesn't re-sign with the Jazz.

Would be a fitting way to close out free agency.

When is he waking up? Not his fault, but Gordon Hayward is probably the biggest reason why the free agent market is constipated right now. When he signs, a bunch of other pieces are gonna fall.

Going to Celtics basically guarantees Eastern Conference Finals appearance. Much easier path than staying in Utah.
