    Feigen: No wait, the Rockets always wanted a longer 4yr Deal.

    now in reverse:
    Rockets wanted to lock him into a 4yr deal with partial guaranteed last year.
    No wait, they always wanted the 3yr deal.

    He can still sign a new deal at the end of this deal... so he didn't necessarily lose anything.

    you're right but at the end of his career, he won't know if he can get another deal, so loss a potential guarantee 4 milly

    Rockets get the deal done for the same non bird.

    And also get one less year on the deal.

    Rockets win the Redo

    Rockets now at 10 players and $109 million dollars in salary leaving us about $16-$17 million before the apron.

    Have to fill 4 more roster slots with talent.

    Rockets still have full BAE and their $11 million dollar NGteed TPE to round out the roster.

    The market for Millsap is drying up quick and the Rockets can look to pounce for say.... $25 million a year in a sign and trade?

    I would rather have Melo.....and would rather trade for him.... butttttt

    Best case scenario, S&T for Millsap, and hope Melo gets bought out and comes to the Rockets. 2 birds 1 stone.

    So, as of today:

    Paul /
    Harden / Gordon
    Ariza / Tucker
    Anderson /
    Capella / Nene / Qi

    So, if we can pull off the SnT, Patterson makes sense to use the MLE on. That is a solid 9 man rotation.
