Am I the only one that watches this? I admit, it is a really cheesy show, and the drama is really over the top. For some reason my wife and I just can't get enough of it though. I figure it is probably quite popular with the high-school aged audience, but I don't know about everyone else. For the record, I am 24 and my wife is 23. Am I the only one that will admit to loving this show?
I like it. I hate missing a show. I've missed the first two or three shows. I caught them during the summer and I liked it.
Oh the things I would do to Summer!!!! I really like the show. Sandy and the dialogue between Seth and anyone else (especially Summer) is what makes the show great. Seth is a hilarious character! Seth: "I was playing Magic the Gathering when you lost your virginity." Ryan: "You still play Magic the Gathering." Seth: "Yeah, but not as much." I missed the first four episodes, but I'm in the process of d/ling them as I type.
haha...yeah, Seth is my favorite character too. I know he is gonna get lucky soon...I'm just trying to figure out who he will bone first...Anna or Summer?
My wife and I watch the O.C. every week. It's so utterly predictable and laughably bad that we like it. Then again, we grew up on 90210, so no wonder we like this series. In some ways, it fills the "teen dramedy" void that Buffy left behind... BTW, I've got all three of Ryan's facial expressions and the patented, all-powerful RyanShrug (tm) down to a science now. Ahhh... Thanks VS! Sorry, but marissa is too bony and anorexic-looking for me. I, too, grew up on 90210. That must be the reason I'm hooked to this show. Good call on Ryan, VS. Did they just find this guy off the street, literally? Talk about a yawner of a character. If Seth ever got with Summer, I think it would take away from the show. The whole "pining from afar" is what gives the show a lot of its humor. Who wants boring old romance? My god, I'm analyzing "The O.C." Someone remove my TV from my living room, NOW!

Mischa Barton will officially lose her jailbait status on 1/24/04. It's not too far away. And I don't think she's skinny at all for a 17-year-old.
Well, at least she is 17, but I would have bet money she was in her early 20's. It looked like the OC was pulling a Dillon McKay when he was a 30 year old in high school with a receding hair line.

this is the weirdest thing. but since i just saw a picture of him (catepillar eyebrow guy). I had a dream with him in it once, only famous person ever to be in my dreams. i remember i was in the back of a car with one of my friends, and that guy was driving with my girlfriend in the passenger seat. and friend was trying to tell me that he was hitting on my girlfriend and i saw him do it. then i shouted at him and we had a wreck and he ran off. so weird. dont know why i couldnt have a dream with a famous hot chick in it.
Damn summer looks good in that picture. Mirscha looks better if she had some meat on her. Seth is the best character in the show. He definetly carries the show.
