We lost a defensive player in Beverley, but we gained a more versatile defensive player in Tucker. We lost a scorer in Lou Williams, but picked up a massive upgrade in offense with Paul AND a massive upgrade on defense with him. This team is going to have offensive firepower similar to last season (if not better in some ways), and will be much improved on defense. This is going to be a really great team.
Best part of this video is Worrell screaming "cold-blooded 3" when he was about 9 feet inside the arc.
I love the signing. Tucker will be a difference maker. He lives to play defense. Watch him guard Butler here late in the game. Gave him fits, and Butler is far from chopped liver. Makes the right rotations. Gets in his face without losing track of everyone else on the court. Digs deep for boards. Hits a couple of clutch threes. Makes his presence felt, no doubt about it. Nice find, zeeshan. This was from, what, March of this past season? And people complain about his age. A big side benefit? He'll reduce Ariza's minutes. That's big. I complained about the minutes Ariza and Harden were playing several times last season. When Trevor plays fewer minutes, he's more effective. So is Harden, in my opinion. Paul will help lower Harden's minutes, and Tucker will help reduce Ariza's. Morey is making good moves, people, in my opinion. He can't be through, either. A lot of work still to be done, but Daryl is doing his job. Give him a chance before throwing a fit about how "awful" the guy is, which is ridiculous.
I watched 3 minutes and saw nothing at all, except Tucker flying off the court on a ball fake. I did see Tucker hit 2 of his calling-card corner "3"s which he can make when unguarded. Reminds in game and appearance of Mario Elle, if Elle put on 25 pounds eating donuts.

Ya know... As great of an upgrade going from Lou to Brewer was, the Rockets had a better win% before he joined the team. Not saying Lou was bad, but some people act like Lou was a huge part of the Rockets success last year. Getting Lou was a good move but Rockets were potent without him. So as far as the bulk of the season the Rockets have basically gone from Bev and Brewer to Paul and Tucker and there are still moves to be made. Regardless of Lou being here, if someone said last year two of the guys getting heavy minutes to begin the season in Beverly and Brewer would be replaced with Paul and Tucker to begin next season Id have been ecstatic.
I think he'll be fine shooting open corner threes. He's similar to Ariza in that he's really just a league avg 35-36% three point shooter but with the open looks cp3 and harden provide it helps a lot. But it's also hard to judge because he wasn't playing with the most talent around him with the Suns and that def plays a part in his lower 3pt shooting. He might surprise us all
To be honest we wasn't half as bad on defense last year as I thought we where going to be. I think on paper we are a much better team but GS is still going to run away with it. I've never hated a team as much as I do those hoes. I think Melo or PG would be given us a punched chance. Still a little hope left.
I suggest an immediate appointment with an ophthalmologist, dude, as soon as the holiday is over. You need a checkup, bad. That's an eye doctor, in case you didn't know. My guess is that if you watched 3 minutes of film of the attack on Pearl Harbor, circa December 7, 1941, you would declare that we lost the war and Roosevelt sucks.
