    He's good. Nene plan B?

    Is Alex Kennedy legit now?

I guess he did the "fake it til you make it" thing and it worked.

Willis Reed? He's in his 70's now, isn't he? That's some veteran leadership, I guess.

I was hoping for maybe Dedmon, Reed is ok. 56% (FT%) to about 69% for Dedmon.

His advanced stats are great. Maybe a good prospect who needs more playing time. I like it a lot.

    Not a bad Nene replacement.

He's got potential. He's tough, this much we know. Has a flair for the dramatic. Good experience and savvy having to deal with the NY media. Seems to have a knack for the big moment as well.

But boy if the "age rule..." was an issue w/ Nene's deal....

    If Nene is gone

Len, Dedmon, Speights, Baynes would also be good options.

I honestly thought this thread was about Willie Green for some reason.

Willie Green was Lou Williams backcourt mate in Philadelphia in the mid 00's. The first time I heard of Lou Williams, both him and Willie were dropping double digits off the bench for Philly.

I was like wow, these two scrubs are going off and picked them up for my fantasy team lol.

Anyway fast forward 10-11 years and Lou Williams is a highly touted former sixth man scoring machine. And now a former Rocket.

I figured we were replacing him with Willie!

I just googled Willie Green and apparently he already retired and is an assistant coach with the warriors.

    Interesting stuff.

And completely unrelated to this thread.

He played well in Miami, but i'd keep Nene over him, especially if cheaper.

He is athletic and physical. I like his dunks, and he can grab boards too. Not a bad replacement for Nene.
