again that GS team is just way too stacked to realistically believe anyone is stopping them from scoring. thats just not happening especially 4 times in a series. you have two mvps in their prime that are basically unguardable. their 3rd option is an all nba all star wing that can drop 30 in a quarter at any time.

You have to have players under contracts to trade away. He will be an expiring. People on this site need to research and sit back and learn before taking about this stuff like they are a couch GM.

the TPE goes away. We just turned those non guaranteed guys who were going to be cut into a moveable asset for this coming season and/or next offseason.

 

I agree there has been some melodramatic posts but what do you expect when you things like "super-team is coming" or "we are in arms race" or "we have things up our sleeve". The past three off-seasons we were told we are trying to build a championship team. I know we are done, but as it stands we are slightly better than we were last year

To have any hope of beating the Warriors, you must have a good offensive team(D'Antoni system plus Harden and CP3) and you have to have defenders that can make Durant, Curry and Thompson work hard to get their points. Guys like CP3, Ariza, Iguodala, Shumpert are those kind of defenders. Beverley was that kind of defender.

 

So then give up?
