i think morey knows that he could do that, so he offers iggy enough to not break our bank, but enough to take warriors over tax if they want to match.
Good point for 2 reasons 1. He is a better basketball player the Ariza 2. This will save you money to have him come off the bench is something he did not want to do in Golden State let alone Houston. If you asked him to come off the bench he would not have even took the meeting.
I actually think Iggy is still one of the better playmaking forwards in the league. He doesn't quite have his elite athleticism or scoring punch anymore, but the guy is clearly an asset on the offensive end of the floor.
i think what he is saying even at 30 something %, the more he shoots, the more he makes and since we shoot at such high volume, it would be fine. We got him for his defense anyway and it will always be good.
So if we can get iggy then we can still dump Ryno for another big time player. Either Melo or maybe a sign and trade for Milsap. Capela, Milsap, Iggy, Harden, Paul. Nene, Ariza, Gordon as the main bench guys. I *** with it.
