I'm saying without Melo we have no serious chance of beating GS or Cavs. I find it hilarious that everyone believe ****ing Paul Millsap and Avery bradly could make us contenders. We are in "win now mode" if anyone thinks anything less than Melo is a threat to win is dumb. People on here seem completely find being mediocre for hardens entire prime
I doubt this happens. Love me some codeman Codman but BG already took to instagram and subtly took a shot at Paul with the #Loyalty hashtag. He *could* rescind sure but I just dont see it. You cant throw loyalty out then be disloyal. With the shot seemingly taken at CP3 I couldn't imagine him coming this way. Technically the LAC could turn it into a sign and trade but again I doubt its to here. LAC is stupid for offering that contract. BG cant get it done on his own and Beverley isnt the PG to make that team run. I think Beverley's value tanks and we get him back at a later time.
Really sorry to hear that. It's an honor to have someone like you on this board posting. You keep things interesting. Any news on what happened in that Locker room last year. Why are we so inclined to trading Ryan and Eric Gordon besides the obvious reasons. Did those two get blown up on. It just seems like those two are really being pushed out the door an any trade scenario.
(first and foremost, I was making a joke relating to the illustration in the halls of the Toyota Center during the Melo free agency chase) However, I do agree with you that the Chris Paul signing is for naught if it's not followed up by bringing in someone like Melo. If it remains at Chris Paul only (out of star players at least coming in) I can at least go back to my 'knowing the Rockets are contenders feeling and just be happy with just entertaining basketball'
I don't like that you said forget codman, but I understand your premise wasnt to be derogatory, because I've recognized you are some what plugged in. If you haven't been paying attention lately, @ch44 has broke some things recently albeit somewhat minor. In regards to your post, I wouldn't be opposed to it at a later time. I can see the cavs wanting to shed some salary and I can see the interest in another defensive minded wing.
