I feel like Capela is gone already. Looking for futuristic C's. Ibaka is not a PF anymore, but he would make a crazy good C in our system.
IF Milsap/Anthony go off the table... and IF he's willing to sign a fair deal then I'd be all for it. For me Plan A: Milsap or Anthony Plan B: Ibaka or Gallinari
But how would we get him? The Raptors are not going to sign & trade him to us...at least, i cannot see that happening, like, at all.
Would be a great get at the TPE range, not at the Ryan Anderson 20 million per year range. Fits our team perfectly. We have two of the best playmakers in the league. We need great defenders that can score, not scorers that can kind of defend.
Yes finally! This is the guy we should be after and one I have wanted. Need his defense against Warriors. I would be down with CP + Harden + Melo + Ibaka and a whole bunch of solid role players that play defense and shoot 3s.
Would have to be acquired via "Morey's TPE" non-guaranteed contracts they acquired during the CP3 trade. That gives them only 12 million per to offer Ibaka. Not sure that's nearly enough to get him. Watch out for Boston here if they strike out on Hayward. I think they might throw huge money at Ibaka to pry him away from Toronto. Toronto I think will still try and bring him back because as its been said before, they have to see a huge window in the East to catch a break and possibly beat Cleveland.
Im a Drummond honk, I admit it. I would jettison Ryno plus Capela and whatever I could to get Drummond and KCP, Sign Ibaka. Paul/Harden/Ariza/Ibaka/Drummond. With Gordon/KCP. Gimme all dem rebounds.
