Maybe . EG is 29 ? And has had an injury history . Dipo was a 2 overall pick a few years ago and looked GOOD in Orlando before having to play next to WB . Sabonis was also a lottery big . Gordon is nice , and he might be better right now ; but Indy just lost PG , they need younger guys that might be hitting their peak in a few years . Gordon can't handle a whole season of starting minutes , he's proven that time and time again . We got about the most PT out of him as possible this last year.
Someone please enlighten me on how we could've topped okc's offer with our current roster. Gordon is not a more sought after commodity than VO
Easily. This says that we were out of it, no way oladipo is more valuable than the 6th man of the year.
gordon + Clint wouldn't have gotten it done? Good luck finding shots in OKC, george. (doubt he stays.)
This makes me so mad. PG13 to Houston was literally the only chance of anyone competing with the Warriors this year and Presti got in the way so that he can watch PG13 run to LA next year? I know the Rockets were probably 50/50 to keep PG beyond the year but OKC's odds can't be better than 10%. That town is an absolute **** hole.
I'm guessing morey didn't want to give up morey and capela for Paul george. The lakers thing is a huge problem
OKC and Minny took big steps this offseason with George/Butler, thankfully Rockets did too with Paul, still want to see Houston add one more big piece to really separate themselves from everybody besides the Warriors.
Thunder are idiots but Pacers took the right deal. F***. Lakers get Paul basically, Thunder become the Clippers. Warriors rejoice.
Paul George filling Russell WB head with LA thing and they both move there. WB probably forces a trade if he signs an extension. Taking Steven Adams and Roberson with them. Thunder - Rebuild.
That would be on the same level of idiocy as tying up Anderson to that horrendous contract. Paul George was the best option available to team up with Harden and CP to challenge the Warriors.
