He did mention the Pistons but the bright spot out of their camp would be Tobias Harris, who is the stretch 4 that we need, especially if we net another star. He also mentions Denver... last season we were in pursuit of Wilson Chandler because he was disgruntled and ready to move on, he could be another piece we net in a mega blockbuster with multiple teams involved (NY, DET, DEN, ORL, CALI TEAM (SAC?), and PHX) but who knows. If something that big ever happened we'd probably be flipping the entire roster sans James Harden. Could Georgios Papagiannis, be the big man that Sac provides? Only other big I can see on their current roster is Skal and I don't think he's going anywhere, too much upside with such little cost. Georgios is on a team friendly (team options for the next two seasons) which would maintain with our goal of flexibility. Koufas could be a possibility as well, but I really REALLY don't like him as a starting big man. No defense and minor offense/rebounding. I think it may be like this: Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Juan Hernangomez, (probably) CJ Miles (maybe) Chris McCollough, Nene Hilario, (probably) Dante Cunningham (FA), Brandon Jennings, Tyson Chandler.
I don't know if you're sniffing in the right direction but if so, what is it with Morey and centers who brick free throws? Morey was also stroking it over DeAndre Jordan not so long ago (no, I'm not saying we're after him, too). I understand the need for a rebounder and shot blocker because all your other guys are outside shooters, but....CLANK! THUD! WhiifffFFFFFF! (Reminds me of Bill Walton commentary: "Ouch, watch yer face.")
Honestly just find some way to trade Anderson for Millsap and we're good to go. Capela is an above average starting at C AT WORST making rookie salary, you dont trade that guy because he allows you a lot of cap flexibility. Once his rookie contract is up, I doubt people will offer him the max because its unknown if he will perform this good if he doesn't have somebody setting him up.
The organization(s) for which I work for require some cryptic stuff. Even with the Lucky Penny in Hamilton from Denver (A minorMorey trade) the "FreeBirds" from the Pels (EGO and Ry) "The Smithsonian" (JSmoov)...right before we got Jarret Jack to an injury and the same when I called Noah from the Buls (injured again.) I'm not being rude, but I do this to share what i know and to keep myself safe. Bartelstein does not play. I got heat from awhile back talking about our quest for Swaggy P and when I called Sweet Lou because he was on our radar. Last season, I got flamed when I told the board that we were dealing with the Bulls to get Taj and Dougie. The Bulls wanted Pat, but James said hell nah! If we had Taj, this PF ordeal wouldn't be as big of an issue...that sucked though. So forgive my cryptic posts. I can stop, but I also like to share what I hear from my friends in the league. Obviously, Ne shares a lot with me, as does Trev. Besides that, I've made some great relationships, especially with guys in Atlanta, Detroit, NY, Orlando and, of course, AZ. Just to clarify. One guy who I clearly don't need to protect is my family friend, Ne. All love. CyberX can afford to drop names in a different way. One of my higher ups would easily be able to decipher some of this. And as of this morning, it's getting Sappy mixed with some BrokenHandToTheFaceofATrainer. We're in the mix. CP3 has a strong hold in the league. Love ya'll, as always. My Ears tell me legitimate info, but things change. Consider what DJ did to Dallas...things on draft night. IT happens.
Thanks again Cod! Keep dropping them bombs BrokenHandtoface of trainer = Blake Griffin fo sure get well soon breh!
Don't bite the hand that feeds you...Pat Beverly. He was our soul. He fed this team power and perseverance. Simple.
NY is toxic for Melo right now. He and La are not talking. He needs a fresh start to fix his brand. Houston is the spot. Honestly, what team give him a chance to win? GS? No, he's not a coward like KD.
I really hope you're right. I'm from Austin, but I live with a huge spurs fan from San Antonio & another guy from Dallas and my **** talking has reached new heights the past two days
LeBron would definitely be in his ear (as would Chris) but I'm not certain he comes to Houston if bought out. Cavs? Rockets? Cavs? Rockets? Chris? LeBron? Chris? LeBron? Tough decision but I think he'd go to Cleveland. But you certainly know more.
Thanks as always for all the news! So now we're in the mix for Milsap or Griffin? Also, is it likely that Melo can actually get a buyout? Not sure why the Knicks do that; you'd think they could get something in trade.
I think CLE is in the mix, but I think Melo wants to ride out alone, without his SUperFriends...Htown would reinvent his brand. CLE could tun him into a one-trick-pony. I'm hearing Hou is his number one choice. He didn't sign with us summers ago, but he was impressed apparently...I guess the IPAD wasn't enough though I blame the curse of Jeremy Lin--Mr. Lose 2 Playoff Games While Dwight is ready to beat that ass.
Of course they could. However, he's made it fairly clear, along with Phil, that he's unhappy. A lowball offer would be easy now. But again, it could be a bit painful for us in a trade. The Knicks are agreeing to rebuild, same with the Hawks. They know Sap is out when he can be. Remember when I said to watch for the ATL implosion? It happened all year, even in the playoffs when Dwight was benched. He wasn't happy and the rumor is that he asked to be let go to another team. Now all of a sudden, his convo with MJ makes him believe that he'll be Orlando Dwight. Nope. ATL got some young bigs, but nothing that's scary.
