    The irony was not lost when Morey painted his masterpiece; twisting every part of the salary cap and the CBA to acquire none other than the President of the Players Association.

    Morey's day must have been amazing. Think about it, he likely woke up and thought "i am going to put the NBA upside down today" then had his breakfast and went ahead and manipulated the **** out of the NBA trade rules!!

    Morey is the guy that starts out with a penny and trades a gagillon times on craigslist until he gets a BMW.

    He is the guy that goes to the grocery store and walks out with 3 carts full and ends up paying $8.47 from coupons/promotions/etc.

    what's funny is Morey has said in the past that his preferred system is a hard cap, rookie salary scale, and no other CBA rules

    part of the reason the CBA is so complex is to try and maintain parity by constraining smart teams from doing smart things, and dumb teams from doing dumb things
