One of the great things I'm excited about is the mid-range game of CP3. Will we finally exploit that part of the game and make our sets more diverse, understand that the Spurs beat us because of our simple 3pt approach and that CP3 and Harden + one more potential mid-range player (Millsap) can open up 3pt shooters even more by using mid-range game more? I surely hope so!!

good to see this back in the game. one thing for sure...no one, not even morey can force cp3 to shoot 3s all the time. cp3 does what he wants to.
Yeah but they won 55 games without midrange, they need to stick to all 3s and layups next season. That way it'll be a really big surprise when they bust out a midrange game in the playoffs.
Players who hit mid range shots at a good clip have the green light under Morey/MDA. There's just so few players who can do that.

He's literally a top three midrange shooter of all-time and therefore the shot is efficient for him and the team. It's big come playoff time for shot diversification, rim protectors won't be able to chill in the paint... Capela is the big winner here.
