This is just the beginning, Morey is not playing games once again he will get this team to the WCF! Losing Beverley "Wolverine" is tough but the team needed a true PG. Will always be a Beverley fan and wish him well with the Clippers and Sam Cassell.
Yes, absolutely agree with this. In fact, CP3 is an elite shooter, period. In fact, in fact, I think the guy could have been an even better PG over the years if he let himself be a little more "free" and with as core first mentality. The guy can/could score at will if he wants to. My big questions, as I've noted repeatedly... can Harden play off ball. I don't view him as having really done it now for 4+ years, even if he was a "SG" technically before this year.

I feel u, but would u really want both CP3 and Millsap on long term deals? I'd rather go after PG13, 2-way wings of his caliber don't come around often and Ariza is old and will expire after this season. I understand getting him is a risk with the threat of him going to LA, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. CP3, Harden, and PG is a legit Big 3.
The huge benefit here is rest for Harden. His minutes per game were absolutely ridiculous last year, and his play suffered because of it. Now he doesn't have to carry the offense on his back every single moment he's on the floor. His number will go down overall, but I bet his efficiency will go up.
I know it was a bad idea. I just don't want Melo or Paul George. LOL Melo might fit in better because he does play better with the right players around him. But I don't see how James Harden will get a long with him.
