That's too bad and you're right. Ryno needs to restructure his contract to reflect his production last season.

Can't do that in the NBA. I'm one of the few Ryno fans on the board, but it's just the reality. He has to go if we hope to add a star.

On a side note, maybe getting CP3 is not the most value added for this team. Honest question....is keeping RYNO on the roster as a threat from the parking lot more value added than adding CP3?

That isn't going to happen. The second star will have to come through trade. More than likely Millsap.

I'm a RYNO fan as well. I was very frustrated with his inconsistency last season and in the playoffs. But I think it speaks volumes how great of a shooter and valuable 4 RYNO is when I still want to keep him on the roster in spite of his poor play.

I think it's either 2Pauls or bust. Milsap is apparently going to get over $30 million. We can't realistically make that work in a sign and trade.

So you tell Paul to be patient and make a run at Cousins once NO struggles to play 500 ball. Paul knows that Morey will continue to be aggressive and there's also next summer to add players so remaining flexible could be key.. there's one FA in particular. Paul needs to give the commitment and Morey will do his thing.

Ok, so no one is disputing the elite talent of CP3. But you lose a parking lot threat on the floor, who do you replace Ryno with? Cp3 is a GREAT playmaker but that would truly be effective with elite shooters on the floor in the Rockets' system. Who can we replace RYNO with?

If we can get any 2 of the 3 Pauls I'd be very happy

Clearly you missed the /CF at the end. Unclearly, I was mocking CF. Battered Rockets fans, where every free agent is just using them for leverage & has no interest in coming here. "Been down this road before! Not falling for it again! Not getting my hopes up again!"

Sign Chris Paul. Trade for Paul George. Keep George de Paula. Chris Paul George De Paula.

Not to derail but it's been pretty quiet on the Serge front.

Side note to all of this: If the Rockets end up getting Chris Paul AND Paul George, Stein's credibility should go through the roof on this board. He has been the only one consistently pushing us in the George talks. WOJ won't even mention the Rockets (so bizarre).

you cross that bridge when you get there but obviously a shooter who you hope is a poor mans version that is at the very least respectable. look i know and made it well known this whole year how much I value what Ryno does but the difference on the way both of these guys impact the game is not close bw a cp3 and ryno.

I am one of the haters. Not were.

Y'all call anyone with a negative view haters. Which is dumb but hey it's your prerogative to make whatever dumb statements you want.

It's like the early "haters" of Pippen, Francis, TMac... almost everyone was "haters" of all three before they were shipped out.

Guys, I haven't seen this but what IF CP3 is somehow willing to take less money to help us build a better team? He has to know his $34m salary would handcuff us. If he does take less money, remember you heard it here first!

No way. Would be wildly irresponsible as Players Union Pres.
